The Makita DHR242 is a 24mm Cordless Combination Hammer. This rotary hammer is featuring efficient brushless DC motor provides higher productivity than that of 18v Cordless Combination Hammer model DHR202.

Although it is an 18v hammer, thanks to its improved technology, it is able to drill in concrete as fast or faster than the 24v model. The ergonomically design easy-to-grip handle is designed to give maximum power thrust and provide a sure and comfortable grip in any operation, overhead application, drilling with palm-up or palm-down grip as well.

The 3 mode operation includes Rotation + Hammering, Hammering only and Rotation only.

The tool body is seperated into the upper and lower housings at the foot of the handle portion where the houses are jointed with vibration absorbing cushion rubbers. Unique rubber joint construction suppresses the transmission of vibration to battery terminals, minimizing battery failure such as terminal breakage or poor electrical contact.
