Our hex head light section bonded washered self drilling Tek screws are a hexagon head self drilling screw with a bonded EPDM washer. They are suitable for a wide range of uses and are commonly used for fixing cladding, drylining and roofing applications to hot and cold rolled purlins and rails along with general components to steel.
The bonded steel washer can act as an isolation between substrate and fixture, as an aid to clamping where fixture clearance hole sizes require, and as a weatherseal.
They are supplied with a 5/16" hexagonhead and an agressive threadform to ensure connsistent tapping and superb holding power. Manufacturered from carbon steel they are suitable for drilling steel thicknesses from 1.2mm to 4mm
